Issues with inner tire wear

1990 F250 with the ttb. Been having issues with the inside of the front tires wearing fast. It has a 6 inch lift with 35s. I’ve heard a few things that could cause this, most commonly the steering linkage angle. I’ve heard flipping your tie rod ends can help with camber change on suspension travel or something along those lines. Does anyone have alternate theories? Also heard worn shocks or springs could be the cause. Thanks

only thing that will fix that is a proper front end alignment.

Did alignments for 30+ years for a living and still do them
One thing with a lift kit is the perches
You drive forward and check the camber angle with a cheap magnetic bubble camber gauge, you just hold on there tight with your hand
Then drive in reverse 20 feet and double check the camber both sides, note the difference
That tells you if the perches are loose, or able to move even if tight
Damn straight an alignment is the answer
You need that camber at least +1/2 degree and a toe set of zero or +1/16 if wearing on the inside
It's not sagging A ss is it? like with a heavy plow? That will lower the ride height and lessen the camber making it need more positive toe in

No it doesn’t have a plow or anything heavy in the front other than a bull bar (which isn’t very heavy at all). I also get like a clunking sound that I can feel under the drivers floorboard when I hit larger bumps which is very common because I live 10 miles in on dirt roads. Only on the drivers side, my passengers can’t even hear/feel it but I definitely can.

So have you ever gone through the front end, including leaf bushings and shackles?

That front end is over 35 years old, even at low miles the rubber will die with age. I get about 20 years on the high end from a fresh front end until it begins to degrade again.
