good morning group, mother nature is shaking out her dandruff again flurry look's more like a blizzard with about a 1/4 inch covering everything , should blow over by 0900 ,looking at the wc radar than a warm up, 20 days till spring,

going to try to leave the house this am, for the first time in 9 days, BORED , and want to make a dado blade insert for the new table saw, delta has one listed that they want a $50 bill for . so my plan is getting a 1/2 inch thick hdpe cutting board from the local job lots store that's 15x20x1/2 same thickness as the oem one , for a $10, size wise i need 4x14 , trim to 4 wide ,trace the stock blade insert, use the dado set to cut the grove flush. giving me something to do,

other wise this bug still has my lungs big time , still can't get more than a hour shut eye at a time before i start hacking again, , today NO VOICE, I'm that horse ,sure hope the docs wrong about it taking as long as three weeks to go away, wife already wanted the code for the gun safe, NO WAY lady, told her 2 people know it and your not one of them, the other knows how to legally sell them when i pass ,

forgot the one that dislocated my shoulder 2 miles into the woods many a year back, 1898 remington TEN gauge side by side, i had both hammers back looking at a nice buck, pulled the right bang both went off at one time,

got out of the house, grabbed that cutting board and made a zero clearance dado insert for the saw, came out pretty nice, good solid fit that looks oem, 10 bucks and 2 hours verses $49.99 plus shipping off ebay ,something to kill time anyway, but this BUG OM * G is it bad

i had a single shot 10 gauge around 45 years ago like that, shot it ONCE. felt like someone hit me in the shoulder with a 20 pound sledgehammer. i swear that pig kicked worse than the old 50-110 Winchester!!
I followed it for 3 years and 6 different owners before loosing track of it. everyone had the same experience... one shot and done with it.

 

that one i still have,needs special paper loads of 2 7/8 inches black powder, that last time o shot it, my right shoulder became dislocated ,EMS had to come out with a specially outfitted UTV and take me out of the newark watershed off rt 23 in stockholm , took them almost 3 hours to get in/out get me to chilton memorial hospital . o-well past tense now, no more hunting for this old body,

not fun this is day 10 with the feeling i'm either going back to the er or doc, can't lose the hacking and water in the lungs feeling , about 20 hours of sleep in 9 days , TG we had closed the shop for feb i'd be in deep stink with both of those cars stalled,
weather reports for tomorrow are not reading nice snow/rain/ice mix. followed by a few real nice ones mid 50 to 60, maybe some nice warm air and getting outside will help clear it away

sorry still no group coffee pot yet gang, i don't want to play pass it along to anyone esp tom
