Good thirsty Thursday morning Jersey, Charlie, Tom, George, Steve, Tim, Ken and the rest of the crew!
Some nasty thunderstorms rolled through the area and into South Jersey last night.

 

gonna be an icky day today.
on the bright side of things, i woke up again and got my appatite back!

i am back up to 194 from a low of 170 coming out of the hospital 4 weeks ago

Charlie, I think NJ, NY and CA are the States driving up the high gas average.
I found that adding "Sta-bil" to the small engine gas helps. Even sitting over the Winter.

 

i mix double dose of stabil, and double dose of seafoam into stored gas, aand it will still be good close to 1 year later.

 

Except for the seafoam, that's what I do for the mower.

 

double stabil plus lead substitute , still don't like running 10% grain 87 in my machines ,been though to many carbs

 

Evening Jersey! The gas is poor, that is true, but the quality of equipment is not what it was!

 

I try to be stable in the recliner whenever I can!

TGIF and friday the 13th what a mix.
springs 7 days away, mother nature's still in winter mode trying to hang on, air temp went from 84 wed to 20 thursday with flurries, 30 right now,

23 days till NJ trout season opens , watched the stocking of the stream walking distance from home, yesterday afternoon ,

 

i worry about the machines with the honda single's and Kawasaki twin motors new carbs for them tends to get very pricey , or heaven help i burn up a motor from running lean, if that ever happened i would have to buy a new machine as the Kawasaki motor can run well over 2k

 

I had one of those DR leaf vacs in Virginia. For some reason plastic parts on the carb fell apart.
