Pitman Arm Puller

Well, according to Ford it's actually a Sector Shaft Arm .
Anyway I'm looking at 2 tools, who has used them and which one worked best.

This first one is an alternate OTC tool. The second tool is the OTC part from the service manual. The third tool is the heavy duty version of the second tool.

I used this one, worked great. Its even called "Pitman arm puller for Ford".

And bonus, Summit racing has them in stock for $35 , which is about 1/3rd the cheapest one listed above (see link below).

That one looks fairly strong, since I have a lift, there is probably enough room for that one.

You don't need a lift to use it. Works just fine on a completely stock vehicle. I have a few Ford trucks hanging out around the house, some I drive, some I use for parts to built jeeps (hard to beat the superduty front dana 60 for the price), this puller has worked on all of them.

Sorry, my bad, a lift kit om the truck, which required a drop pitman arm.
One day I may treat myself to an actual hoist/lift.

Ended up buying the heavy duty one from Freedom racing. I'll hopefully get to this project soon. I simply need to pull the arm to see if the sector shaft splines are OK. I know the arm is worn and already bought a new one over a year ago.
