So who knows where I can find one of these Pitman Arms for the driver side? for a 1951 Ford F-1 truck? I went to 2 local salvage yards that had same year but their arms were just as worse shape as mine. I'm having power steering installed in my truck and the truck had a ford mustang 302 engine installed in it and a 905 transmission what ever that is. Well when they took the arm off it was about ready to break on me if I was to drive it any longer would not been a pretty sight from what I have been told. I found a few on eBay but they did not look any better and I found an after market but that did not fit right. Thank you for any input.

Reason: Pitman Arm instead of control arm
What exactly is the Issue with the pitman arm? The one you posted looks to be in good shape, ball & splines look fine. What power steering are you installing?
Some kits (CPP) have a pitman arm included.

I bought a 1951 Ford F1 that was customized the prior owner installed a 302 ford mustang engine and some off the wall steering out of a another mustang, I bought the truck as a hobby and It had too much play in the steering that made it unsafe to drive, so I'm having the steering system upgraded trying to drive without power steering is a challenge. They showed me the ball on the joint had stress cracks and in time would have broke off. here is my truck
Box looks stock w / later steering column as mentioned.... who is doing the upgrade?
There is a guy who is retired from racing, he use to race funny cars and Dragsters he has two dragsters and a funny car in his shop one of his dragsters has two engines which he raced in a different class in the NHRH. since he is retired from racing he does work on customs cars that people buy and have no ideal how to maintain them and he does his own fabrication. He said todays drag racing is allot different now then when he was racing because todays funny cars and Dragsters have computers that mostly do all the work for you. He said since this is a hobby that I'm starting he will fix what needs to be fixed to make it a safer Truck and I can do the rest on my own. He also told me owning a custom car is a very expensive hobby.
I wouldn't think some wear on the drag link ball would cause "steering issues", stress cracks will eventually only get worse. Did he say what type power steering he's installing? I'd suggest rack & pinion if it's available. If you use a entirely different setup you won't need your old pitman arm. I 2nd that the pictured steering box looks original.
I'll just take a shot in the dark and say unless you found NOS (new old stock) anything you find will be rough. These trucks weren't built, when new, to run at interstate speeds.
