Hi all, I am looking at picking up a 1958 F-100. It is in good shape, I will use it on the farm in the summer to pick up lumber, grain an other items that I don't need to use my Superduty F-350. My Superduty has a sprayed in liner and a rubber mat to help keep payload from sliding around. That being said, should I do something to protect the 58 bed. I do not think I should use spray in liner, but what should I do, if anything, Thanks for your assistance

Thanks, I left out that bit of necessary information. It is a pretty good looking floor and I know I would put a full size rubber mat in it to help protect the floor, it is the rest of it.

I'd rust repair it, then paint it, then use a rubber mat if you want. A rubber mat will trap moisture under it longer than if the bed were just out in the open.
