What transfer case?
I am building a 4wd e350 van;2004 5.4 4r100 transmission. What transfer case fits this motor/transmission? Are the electric shift and manual shift the same TC? I have a 2002 e350 4wd Quigley that has a BW (I believe)1136 case. I have been led to believe that it was from an earlier year application.

Look for a NV271 (manual shift) or a NV273 (electric shift) and double check input spline count as this changed between years.... the BW may also work if the input spline count matches the trans. The NV TC will be a heavier duty option with a 1.5" chain vs a BW 1.25" chain. NV's are large and not sure how they compare to the BW in size. The Ford NV's are also a fixed yoke design which is desirable.
