Good morning, everyone! Back to the grind today after a long weekend. The rain and gloomy days kinda ruined it for me on top of not getting anything done. Was going to try and mow on Friday before the rain... Probably would've made it too except I was out of gas and our little small town gas station was closed earlier than normal. Things like that is why they've earned the nickname "the most inconvenient convenience store". Rain was starting faster than I could've made a trip to town and back for a few gallons of gas. That's pretty much the way the rest of the weekend went. At least there was a few good football games on Saturday, though.
Camped over the weekend. We had a covered tent and a propane fireplace so we stayed dry and it only rained in the evenings so perfect! Football was a nail biter as was volleyball Sunday. I think our VB coach is the real deal. She's not afraid to make changes. Jim we were almost in your neck of woods Friday but the guy didn't respond until later in the day.
Spoke to the trailer shop Thursday. H&H only sent over one ramp, so I guess I'm 2 more weeks out from having ramps for the trailer. Good thing I don't need it. All the parts showed up for the z50 so I'm planning to get the top end done on that and running this week. Saturday some friends are taking a long ride from Seward, up to Yankton, over to Niobrara and back. Close to 500 miles so we can hit Monowi, the big burger place etc. Should be a good day. Will likely clean up the bike and wax is Friday so it looks good. Town board meeting tonight. Hoping I don't blow a gasket on the rest of the board about still not doing a damn thing about streets. I need to go measure the craters....
Good morning, everyone! Was hoping to mow tonight but I think it's rained enough that it'll be too wet again by this evening. I think I'm officially over this mowing season. Call me what you want, but I like when the weather turns and the lawn goes dormant.
Afternoon guys! Had our official ribbon cutting for the site here today, had all sorts of Mucky-mucks here, including the governor. I hung out in the control room, not my crowd.

Don't feel like I've accomplished much this week. I did get the yard mowed and the little z50 is mostly back together. Just some nuts and bolts before a test fire. My wife tore out half of the garden last night which led to cutting all the tree saplings down. Took 2 loads to the dump last night of weeds and trees. Spending this evening cleaning the bike for our long ride tomorrow. I haven't washed it all year and it needs a wax.
Good morning all, happy Friday! Have some tree trimming to do this weekend, mainly over the driveway so the roofing truck can load shingles when the time comes. Have a wedding to go to Saturday night. They'd better have a tv there, or, as I told the wife, I will be leaving, with or without her!!LOL
Good afternoon, all! It's absolutely gorgeous outside today! It's got that harvest time feel to it, for sure. The guy that I usually help sounds like he's got more man power lined up for this year so hopefully it doesn't drag on like it did last fall.
Which do you all think will be more interesting to watch tomorrow night? The football game or how the Husker faithful in the stadium will be able to hold their liquor? I can only imagine how things would've turned out having booze back in the day during Colorado games...
