Starter for 2000 450 7.3
I need to replace my starter. Oreilys has 2 different starter for my truck. One has 13 notches, gears. I'm not sure if the name for these?? the other has 12. I can take mine off and match it up but how do I know the one I'm taking off is the correct starter for that truck? The teeth in the starter that contacts the flywheel. I'm not sure what the teeth are called??
