#2 cylinder miss untill truck was up to temp. Bought a shim kit, and shimmed #2 injector. Was a tight.002 clearance shimmed it to a loose .004 clearance. Now that injector knocks , it didn't knock before the shimming. Thinking that injector is toast
Shimmer armature .004 and shimmed solenoid.005.. just an eBay kit
Did the kit come from a guy in Washington state...he used to go by Truck Rental, but think he changed his user name? Does it knock all the time...cold versus hot engine? Did you drill an extra oil drain in the bottom of the aluminum spacer between the solenoid and injector body?

Just some no name kit that I'm sure came from China , no I didn't drill the hole for the oil. Seems to do it when it's hot more than cold. Truck still misses on that cylinder when cold, but now kicks in when coolant temp is 120 vs 180

The only kit I would use is from the aforementioned vendor. His screws are an upgrade from the oem ones in the truck...which shouldn't be re-used anyway. I would pull it back down and see if anything is loose...and then re-shim it to .003" to see what that does...
