Okay, so this isn't actually my Expedition—it's my neighbor’s. I'm a Powerstroke guy, so I haven't messed around with many of the F-150 platform trucks, but we’ve run into a weird issue with the HVAC system, and I can’t seem to find anyone who's experienced the same symptoms.
Here’s the problem: the heat and A/C both work fine, but the truck will only blow hot air on the driver’s side of the front climate control. Both the passenger side and rear HVAC work fine and can switch from hot to cold without issue. All HVAC vents are operational—the truck can switch from defrost to floor vents just fine—but the driver’s side persistently blows only hot air.
All three of the HVAC actuators have been replaced with new Motorcraft units, yet the problem remains exactly the same. So, before tearing the dash apart or blindly throwing more parts at it, I figured I’d try using my brain and reaching out for some expertise on these trucks. 2011 Ford Expedition EL XLT
