Hey guys, I'm shopping for a raptor. Came across a 2010 6.2, it's had a little neglect the last few years. CV boots are torn, the CV / transmission seal is leaking, upper ball joints are torn ... For the price, I can deal with those things. One thing that came across though that I need help with, is on the brakes; there's a brake line, an abs/speed sensor, and then there's a second sensor which the rubbery cable has been ripped no doubt by the brand new tires that are too large and rub on the upper control arms. What is the sensor? And can half inch spacers go on the front without longer studs.

Got pics? Sounds like the IWE hose... Vacuum line going to the hub to disengage the IWE. Hear any grinding when turning?
It ended up being the dealer that put the 37s on incorrect offset rims. It was the vacuum lines. The truck was a smoking deal, but I passed on it. The exhaust was cut off....and recently; it was still shiny where it was cut, and I thought I kept feeling some driveline shutter, but the knobby tires and exhaust were really inhibitive of feeling what was actually happening... Almost like the dealer, or whoever traded it in set it up that way to cover issues..That with the other things neglected just made me believe there will be $$ issues I'll discover shortly after purchase. It may or may not have been worth it still, just not prepared to deal with it ..FYI it was a cobalt blue SCAB for $15k with 150k miles
