Sorry if this has been posted before.
There are 3 people on an island. Call them what you want: blonde, Newfie, rednecks or whatever. I will call them Person #1, Person #2 and Person #3.
So they are trapped on this island and they want to get off. They figure it's about 20 miles to the main land. So Person #1 thinks to theirself "I am in pretty good shape I can swim to land." So they attempt to swim to shore and get about 3 miles out and start to get tired so they turn around and swim 1 mile back and drown.
Person #2 thinks to theirself "I am in pretty good shape I can swim to land." So they attempt to swim to shore and get about 7 miles out and start to get tired so they turn around and swim 3 miles back and drown.
Person #3 thinks to theirself "I am in pretty good shape I can swim to land." So they attempt to swim to shore and get about 19 miles out and start to get tired so they turn around and swim 10 miles back and drown.
