2018 Expedition TPMS Help
Temperature dropped about 40F overnight and the TPMS warning lite up with "tire pressure sensor fault", Sure enough all 4 tires needed a few pounds. But the system malfunction light stayed on. I googled Ford TPMS reset and it seems there are several different reset instructions. One instruction says to look under the steering wheel of a reset button. Not there. Another set says to turn on the ignition without starting and press the brake pedal 3 times and then hit the start button 3 times. Another instruction says to drive 10 minutes, shut off and then hit the hazard button 6 times. I don't care about realigning the tire location to the dash after a dealer tire rotation, I just need info on the reset for a 2018 Expedition.

Here is more info I have found out since I posted the above question. Ford TPMS sensors have a battery that is not replaceable. Battery last 5 to 10 yeas with 7 years being the average. Mine is over 7 years. I probably need to replace all 5 sensors including the spare tire. The average dealer cost for replacement is $70 per sensor. The cost of each sensor is indeterminable. Online a set of four is around $200. Ford charges about $160 per sensor. Looks like around $1350 plus tax, shop fees, etc. Now I would just like to turn off the tire warning light and install a screw on set of pressure monitors onto the valve stems like my older vehicles have.
Part 3
lBoth sensors on driver side failed, both on passenger side had very weak battery readings. Replaced all four at Tires Plus local store. The spare tire sensor tested good. Total including parts, labor and shop supplies and resetting the system was $615.
