2021 Explorer - keypad not functioning
This is an FYI that might help someone else.
Had a message on my Ford app concerning remote functions not working on the wife's 2021 Explorer Limited.
Later, when she got home went out to her car and attempted to open the door using the keypad. I rely heavily on the keypads on our 21 explorer and f250.
The keypad did not even light up.
Went into the control screen on Sync for the doorcode and reset it. No change.
Finally, grabbed a car battery charger of mine that has output indicating charge level. Car was at 72 percent.
Let it charge back up to 100 percent and all was good.
It's a 2021 we have had for 37 months and only has 20K miles, so may not be getting enough driving.
