Mariner front/rear bearings, joints, overhaul
A buddy just gave me their 2009 Mariner. It needs the whole front and rear ends redone. Brakes, rotors, ball joints, bearings,bushings. I found I can just replace upper and lower control arms with ball joints and a whole front knuckle pre-assembled with wheel bearings. I've pressed wheel bearings and ball joints before on my Excursion but don't feel like it doing it anymore and parts are relatively cheap on these vehicles.. what I seem to be having trouble finding is what rotor I'm needing on the front. I can find parts that are for all wheel disc brake models or four-wheel drive models, but none of them say they are compatible with my version which is two wheel drive with rear drums. I'm also not wanting to press in bearings on the rear, is there a whole trailing arm / rear hub / brake assembly I can buy fully assembled. I haven't even pulled the wheels off yet just preliminarily getting things in order.. just the amount of play I can find in every direction up and down left and right, combined with the loud roaring and squeaks in turns... It's pretty bad and can't feel safe driving it.
