1999 F-350 v10 4x4 battery
Is it worth 2x the money for an AGM with the same warranty? Or will the 130 amp factory alternator cause a problem with an AGM vs std battery? I have a 9' snowdog blade & 8'x9'x4' dump bed with 12v hydraulic pump.

Shouldn't cause/have a problem. I installed two Walmart Everstart Platinum AGM 750 CCA $149.84, 4 year free replacement warranty in 12/21 for my 2004 F450 diesel. They have been good, I keep them on a NOCO Genius GEN5X1, 1-Bank, 5-Amp (5-Amp Per Bank) Fully-Automatic Smart Marine Charger 24/7 when not using the truck.

I don't think it will be worth the 2x cost. I've run AGM prior, no difference in performance. In fact it was the shortest lasting battery I ever owned. I run a stock alternator and a standard flooded battery, with a 30amp DC-DC charger for my camper, 4 lights, an amp and a 12V fridge in the cab.
