I screwed up,was jumping my camper which has the v10 in it.great motor,well anyways had jumpers backward on camper side.after couple minutes realized an changed,,put on right camper fired up an ran great,no lights,everything worked as it should.let it run an wanted to see if autanator was working so took off pos term on battery an continued to run,put back on an let run good hour.shut it off an started right up....went back couple days later an dead,I mean dead,main battery along with 2 backup for motorhome were dead!!!whats wrong?
is there a battery isolator between the alternator and the RV batteries? If not, the bad battery in the truck could drain the RV batteries.
First things first, check the battery voltage right at the battery with a volt meter. Report back.
(Side note: Never disconnect the battery from a running vehicle to "test" the alternator. The alternator could see no voltage from the battery and go full-tilt).

Have you performed any sort of parasitic amperage draw testing on this vehicle's electrical system? Something isn't right and swapping supposedly good batteries one after another isn't going to solve this problem.
