Wix coolant filter results

I'm a bad bad truck owner. I waited maybe 20k miles to change the wix coolant filter on my coolant filtration kit.... which by the was was full of the green coolant dye I added to find a leak. It all accumulated in the top of the filter. Weird. Why? How? My coolant is red.

Anyway the filter media looked debris free...I think we are chasing ghosts.

I'm of the same opinion. Green coolant has particulate dropouts that should be filtered. But gold coolant has very little and red has none, so no need for filtration.

Any casting sand shook loose and washed out 20 years and 6 coolant flushes ago.

The green coolant has particles in it? I did find some grey sand/silt looking stuff sitting in the bottom of the coolant bottle last time I did the water pump.

No the green isnt coolant its UV dye, I believe.

My coolant is red.

I dont think the filtration system is justified.
