I have a 2020 F450 with dual alternators. O'Reilly's doesn't carry that LOOOOOOONG serpentine belt, and I really like to have a spare with me, just in case (or even just on-hand in case I start to see cracks in the ribs of the one that I'm running).
Do you typically have trouble with those belts?
my 17 powerstroke is still running on the original one with 275k
on it. I mentioned to the mechanic to check it and he said it looks good.
You can order one from a bunch of different places. I have thought to do the same, have one as a spare. At around 9k miles my AC compressor seized up, it smoked my belt a couple times till I realized what was happening. After the compressor repair was completed, I noticed that a new belt wasn't listed on the work order.

I would definitely replace that. These newer belts are made out of different materials that don't typically crack like the older belts. They just wear down until the snap or come apart. A savvy mechanic can look at the side profile of the belt and see that it has gotten much thinner. These belts typically sit below the surface of ribbed pulleys and makes them a dead give away to being beyond their service life.

That just happened to me, truck is still waiting the compressor and other bits to arrive, then it’s a full flush and rebuild. I always carry a spare, but in this case it wouldn’t have helped as the clutch was solid as well.
