Holley - replace electric choke
I need to replace my electric choke on a Holley 4160 (80457-1). The piston seems to be hanging up, and there's no way to smooth out that action. I'm confused which replacement to get. My choke has a port on the lower left that connects via tube to the carb (see first photo below). The replacements (45-223 or 45-224) do not have this port. They have an open air port with a screen. Do I just ditch the tube and plug the carb port? I'm assuming the 45-223 is the right one, as my carb has an internal vac source - unless I'm mistaken.
And what's the deal with the 45-240, which is a piston-less design?
Thanks!
J.

The only Holley choke setup I thought worked right was either a manual pull or one that was used on a 4180C. Never had much luck with the auto choke Holley; they worked in the absolute right conditions...maybe.
