292 ECZ-B Block Maximum Safe Bore

I have a 56/57 ECZ-B block that is .060 over. Generally speaking, is it safe to go bigger, or should I look for a better candidate to rebuild? Larger pistons are available. If the bores will clean up with an additional .010, I could go with 3.820 pistons.

I have heard a 292 can be safely bored to all 312 piston sizes .
But it might pay to have the bores sonic tested for wall thickness before doing so .

John Mummert has a 312 conversion kit for the 272 and 292 engines. You are almost there now at .060 over.

I have been told by many 90 over is the max. A few have said 100 is max
