E4OD Blinking Overdrive light, now no shift in a 96

My overdrive light was blinking, a steady on/off, not a blinking due to a short or a bad LED as that was the first thing I replaced and checked.
Fluid is full and clean, has been driving fine and shifts with no issues.
No transmission code has come up in the 500+ miles that I have been waiting them to.
Last Friday I cleaned the shift solenoid plug, as I read it was a common issue.
Used a dry vacuum to suck up all loose debris. Sprayed the plug and socket down with CRC electronic cleaner.
Left everything to dry for about 2 hours, then came back and sucked anything loose with the vacuum.
Plugged it back in, and the overdrive light no longer blinks.
But, now the truck will not shift into 2nd...
Still no transmission codes.
Dropped pan, and inspected and cleaned all valve bodies. Before oiling them back up, I shook each one to make sure it moved freely back and forth.
Only friction material on magnet.
Tested the MLPS, and its ohms are all within range.

Tested the solenoid pack via this video

EPC (4.5 Ohms)
Shift Sol. B (20.9 Ohms)
Shift Sol. A (21.2 Ohms)
TCC Sol. (21.2 Ohms)
Coast Clutch Sol. (21.0 Ohms)
TOT Sensor (20,600 Ohms)
Using the air with power applied testing all solenoids engage, and seated as intended.

Got everything cleaned, moving, oiled, torqued, and sealed. New fluid + TC topped up.
Basically nothing was wrong with any of the valves, or springs.
Back where I started, and same issue. (Blinking overdrive button, no code, and no shift into 2nd.)
I am looking for some sources on testing the connector and ECM pins to see if there are bad or severed connections somewhere.

What are you using to read the codes? When the OD light flashes one or more transmission codes are stored in memory. You just can't access them with the reader you're using.

I had to buy a scanner that could do all this, so after a hour of setting up (mostly waiting on the code) I was able to warm the truck up and run a KOER, and KOEO. I know the P1000 means it needs a drive cycle. Haynes does not offer the other codes, so I had to google them.

If I am understanding correctly I need to test the transmission fluid temperature sensor, and connections.

[Edit]: I just realized its on the solenoid body, and I already tested it when it was pulled, it had the correct ohm range. So it has to be the connector, or a short in the line from the connector to the pcm.

The TFT errors do point to a wiring issue since you stated you checked the resistance previously. I wonder if there is a PID to see what the TFT temperature is being reported as. Cannot say I have seen a TFT error causing shifting issues but I can see why it would trigger a code.

I believe the wire harness is the issue. The oil buildup might have caused a malfunction, but when I disturbed the harness, cleaning the plug of oil and debris, it caused loose or bad connections for the other solenoids. When I straightened the wires on the harness, looking for broken or exposed wires, it might have restored connection to the solenoids. I ordered a new harness, yet I still need to drive to work. It shifts fine now, but I have to be watchful and ready if the no-shift issue returns before the harness comes in for the permanent fix.

Glad the FORScan software got your codes to display. Many times the cheap generic readers do not have the capability display higher level codes. FORScan has worked very well for me on several Ford/Lincoln vehicles I have owned or currently own. I have the high end ELM327 so I can access the other modules on the vehicle.
