I’m in need of help diagnosing a problem I’m having with my 2017 F150 eco-boost. Im getting intermitten warnings service advance track, hill descent control
fault and see manual (wrench). Goes in to limp mode. It’s been to long Lewis ford in Hoover they reflashed transmission. They went away for couple weeks.
I need help with finding some one to diagnose the problem. To point me the right way. I don’t have any idea where to start even looking. I have read wheel sensors. Abs. An others. All the way to a bad throttle body, which I don’t understand how the truck runs fine, and it really happens out of nowhere. If anyone knows of anyone in the Birmingham area or someone that specializes in these trucks that No the electronics. I really need a hand. I don’t have a lot of money, so any help please thank you in advance. I’m hoping someone can give me a hand.
Not likely the answer you're looking for but I learned a long time ago is to take it to a dealership that has a big volume in sales because they have dealt with just about every problem involving their product. Small garages that only do minor repairs just don't have the knowledge, unfortunately the labour charges are high but I find the small garages are starting to charge the same and nowhere near the experience..
I found the problem it was a pedal controller sending incorrect voltage to pcm.
still have check engine light on cause some how the vin doesn’t match up with bcm when I changed my wheel size using forscan.
living with light for now ford can’t figure it out so they can’t fix. I think I will have to find someone that tunes them an see if they can help
