Motor mount wont toghten

Just put new motor mounts in my 1968 f100 with a 300. Everything fit but now the bolt to the perch does not won’t to tighten. Every time the bolt starts to get tight it gets loose again. Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong with these brand new mounts? Thanks

Welcome to FTE..
Not familiar with that year mount BUT the way you explain it sounds like either stripped threads or wrong size bolt..
