I am fairly new to the flathead and have a question. I have a 36 ford 4 door sedan with a 59 AB in it. Someone has drilled and tapped ports in the rear of the heads and used a copper line to crossover from head to head. I'm assuming to carry water from head to head. I have other heads and none of them have had this modification done.
Can anyone provide me with some insight as to what this person was trying to do?
Each bank has its own water pump, so unless one pump is turning faster, or pumping more than the other, it would be a stand off as far as flow through that pipe goes.
