4 way flashers on my 79 F250 quit all of a sudden. Fuse is good, all the lights work fine. Is there a seperate flasher for the hazards? If so where is it?
Or could it be something else?
And once you find the second flasher, you can verify that it is the actual problem by swapping the two.
They should still have the same connection style, so it should be easy.
This will help you determine that it’s not something else, such as the hazard switch.
It’s possible that the two are different, but earlier models used the same connector configuration.
Different flasher (heavier duty) but same configuration.
Laying on the dvrs side floor look up under the dash, on the inside cab wall/kick panel. Look for 2 round flashers. Maybe one is white and one is....not white? As Paul said swap them around and see if the problem is still there. One is for flashers and one is for turning signals.
Definitely. Even at a different color, you'd still have to remember which one is which.
I remember the original Bronco units were both plastic, one Blue and one White. But I don't remember which one was which either.
