I have a 1995 F150 4x4 157,000 miles. It will run fine for 20 to 30 minutes then it just loses power and back fires a little on the left side of motor. I replaced fuel filter, plugs, plg wire, rotor and cap. Nothing changed. It does not have a catatic converter. Any thoughts?
I will try changing fuel pump. I forgot to mention that when it acts up I can let off on the gas pedal then press it again and it get power again. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to get it to come back.

Dont change out the pump until you test it first! Testing the pump is free and only takes 15 minutes to do.

Sounding more and more like fuel pump all the time.
Here's an update. I have replace the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump, the ignition coil, spark plugs, rotor cap, rotor button, mass air flow sensor, and air filter. It had gotten worse before I changed anything and will only go a mile or two before losing power and back firing on left side of the motor. It will pick back up when you let off the gas petal a few times. Any other suggestions?
