Hesitation/Stumbling after stopping and acceleration.

300 Inline Six. I just recently switched from a TBI to carb. QFT Brawler 600cfm. Everything is fine at idle and once the truck is going down the road. Can go from 0 to full throttle in those two scenarios and it responds perfectly. The issue I'm having is when driving and coming to a stop. After stopping it stumbles and hesitates for a couple of seconds before taking off. I've done a days worth of googling and all I see is people saying this is a lean condition and to check my accelerator pump linkage. Just did that and the instant you hit the throttle the accelerator pump actuates, no delay or slack whatsover. Any ideas?

3 things I would check.......1. Vacuum connections/source... might have a issue causing that, 2. Cam adjustment for accel pump....IIRR, they all are set at the #1 position, and it just might need to be set to the #2 position which just slightly gets the accel pump to kick in faster. and 3) Float level might be just a hair high causing a flooding type condition
