Low Pressure in fuel rail. Have replaced everything
Hello to all,
I have a 2013 Ford F-250 2 door 4WD, A while ago my truck stalled and and I hooked up my scan tool and realized the pressure in the fuel rail was low. Replaced the fuel filters thinking that this could be the issue and I had the same problem. Next, I took off the HPFP and noticed that it had metal debris where the Fuel Volume Control Valve is, so I decided to replace the HPFP, replaced the lines, and the injectors as well (Bosch Injectors),Replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator valve, Plugged in scan tool and inputted the codes on the injectors into the ECM. I crank the truck up and I'm getting no pressure still. To make a long story short, I ended up warrantying the pump thinking it was bad and the injectors as well, cranked the truck and it started right up with good pressure showing on the scan tool, I left it running for a while and I decided to turn it off and now it wouldn't start because of low pressure... again. I am really getting frustrated because I have replaced everything and somehow it still doesn't build enough pressure in the fuel rail. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you by chance use fuel additive? There have been reports of the foil seal on top of the bottle getting into the fuel tank, and it is the right size to block the fuel pickup. I have never had this problem, just reporting what others have said.
Well, now that I think of it that is the only thing left to replace. Could this cause my issue?
Yup, there was most likely metal still inside the rails, and if you didn't change those some of that metal most likely went right into your new injectors. From what I understand, when a CP4 grenades, the entire fuel system is replaced (maybe just a good wash and rinse of the tank). By just replacing some of the things, you probably contaminated your entire system again...
I know it doesn't help right now, but once you get this figured out, I would consider installing a DPK kit too. It won't prevent a CP4 from blowing up, but it will protect the rest of the fuel system if it does, leaving you to just replace the CP4 and not every other component of the fuel system.

I don’t think that is possible. The tank draw straw has what looks like an inverter funnel with a screen over it. The area of the screen is about the size of a coffee cup lid. A half inch foil seal from a bottle would not clog it up. Maybe 25 of them being sucked up at the same time.

I saw a YouTube video that medicated the drivers side fuel rail has a connection from the. The pax side and debris from metal contamination can accumulate in the rail and stop fuel flow. No fix but to replace the fuel rail. Reader h this.

Unfortunately... ^that is most likely the issue. If there was still metal in the system, you likely damaged the new parts.

Absolutely, Ive seen it happen before. The smallest metal debris will stay trapped in the rails and can cause issues. I would replace both the drivers side rail assembly (comes with brand new FRP sensor and FRP regulator) and passenger side rail and that might do the trick
Odds are your new injectors will be fine, the metal debris kind of acts like gold flakes in a creek bed, although Id keep those fingers crossed
