Ok, I know that Super Duties haven a history of leaking batteries.........
I have a 2022 F250, Lariat with most all the bells and whistles. I took delivery on December 8, 2021, 16,900 miles....I have a battery that has been leaking on and off.......I clean it up when I notice it, but I don't look at it but maybe once a month.
I am not so much interested about the warranty on the battery, but am concerned about the corrosion that is a result of the leak, hold down, tray/box, mat , etc...............
Anyone have any experience with a warranty claim on a battery issue?

Can't help with warranty but have you popped the tops to check level and top off with distilled water if needed?
Local Ford dealer tells me they won't replace under warranty unless it fails a load test on some specific tester. Took a utility in last week..failed on two hand held load testers, but passed on the Ford specific one. No warranty replacement.

Is it at that specific dealership? Maybe another one might have a different process? If not, the acid dripping can NOT possibly be good.

Local dealer replaced both of my batteries and hold down w/o a hassle.
both batteries functioned as they should. One was leaking and that side hold down was slightly corroded.
I just reminded them batteries needed to be replaced in pairs on a diesel.
Picked it up with two new batteries, new hold downs and zero charge ($$).
This was not that long ago on a 2019 nearing the end of the 3/36 warranty.

I don't believe that the acid will just stay around. It either drips down or might be blown around. So, how good do you feel about it? If it were me, I'd go to the next dealership when you are out of town and try my luck. Failing that, Autozone will have replacement batteries. Just call them to make sure they have 2 and put them on hold. Fail to get the battery replaced, jump there and get them to do it. Yes, it sucks but so what? You rather have acid flying around? Your call. I would not suggest anything illegal like shorting out your battery. It might get you into legal trouble if caught.

Get some baking soda and mix with water. Give it all a bath/ scrub that will take care of the corrosion. Wear safety glasses while doing this.

That's an easy fix, take the caps off and dump all the water out of the batteries then take them in for a load test.
That gets rid of the stuff that is there. What happens next month when more drips out?
If it's "dripping out" he should get new batteries if they test bad. I would like a pic of current condition of batteries, mine on my '21' truck had a little moisture from one cap section. Cleaned it up, check the level in the batteries, made sure cap section was secured all the way down. Put noco felt rings on the posts or you can put something on the terminals to prevent corrosion. Or do nothing and complain that there's corrosion.

He says he cleans once a month and it leaks off and on. My thought is to dump the batteries, even at his expense as opposed to using felt rings or clean it, etc. I am more worried about the acid slinging around the engine bay. That is why I suggested he find another dealer and if that is not successful, find someplace and get a good set and forget about it.

If his battery is leaking as bad as he says it is than it should be low inside the battery and it should kill it self off prematurely. He hasn't said if he popped the tops off to check levels or needed topping off. I dought acid is being slung around the engine compartment but does make for a nice visual in the mind.
