82 Cutaway Cube Van stalls in gear
Got my Dad's 82 Ford Cutaway cube van after he passed. I think it's an e350???
It sat for 15 years. I siphoned out the tanks of the old gas. Ran a line into fresh gas in a jerry can and got it fired up.
It idles high and wants to stall if I drop the idle screw. I can only start it by pouring gas into the carb. I hooked up a bypass gas line to the front tank and it runs the same.
When I put it in rev it stalls,I jump fast to drive it stalls,I jump fast to neutral and it stays running.
I've been on it the last three days and now only getting it idle by itself without stalling unless I drop the idle screw to low.
It's an 82 351 Carbed and auto trans.
I've not had many Fords to work on so need the help.
