that is definitely a challenge with snowmobile trails, they never stay smooth for very long. The trail organization in Vermont has a trail app and you can tell how long ago a groomer has been on a trail. I don’t follow it. If I plan a trip I stick with it no matter how rough. But this crappy year there hasn’t been enough snow to make decent bumps. Most of the roughness is from the actual contour of the ground. Not enough snow for the groomers to really do anything with
