Some areas that morning got 3-4" of new snow, others nothing. If it wasn't for the snow we had gotten on Saturday, we probably would not have gone. The moose was probably less then a year old.

Howdy Jay!

Another nice day out there. Need to get this day over with so I can get going on my motor build. Getting more exciting as I get it back together.

Good morning Jim, Jay and Cory! Oh yeah its Friday!

Yes I am Cory! Got the pistons all installed along with the lifters and heads are back on. I tell you what they are not kidding around with those head studs. Last studs I did was in a 6.0 and those are torqued to 210 ft lbs. The 6.4 studs are torqued to 275 ft lbs. I had to borrow a torque wrench from a neighbor a few miles away who use to be a heavy truck mechanic. My 1/2 inch torque wrench only went up to 250 ft lbs. Needed the 3/4 inch drive one.
