Good morning MN. Have a trouble free day. I'm pretty sure we are about done with our season. Yesterday was atomic hot at 60F, full sun and wind. We had just minimal cover to begin with. Quick death to a dismal season. We did around 270 miles Friday in about as good of conditions as this season had provided.
Good morning Jim! Yeah 60* is warm for this time of the year but it sure does sound nice.

We didn't get a drop of precip from the last storm either. I put on about 2-3miles around the yard after I fixed bearings, slides, shocks and carbides. Sheeish, expensive year so far. I wasn't able to get Masons piston in, just a bit too big. Same as one that came out (its even stamped the same on the inside) so I had him take the jug and the piston to his shop teacher and see if he could hone it out. I figure its a good learning experience for him.
Good morning Cory! Just take the grinder to it or maybe a bigger hammer. You can get that piston in there!
Tried that Troy, lol! It didn't work so well. His teacher didn't have a hone so I ordered one. Just have to work it slowly until it fits i guess. I emailed the place I got it and asked what my options are so we shall see. Either send another piston or hone it out and make it work.
Troy, it had developed an exhaust leak again. They have this terrible bellows setup off the engine. I fixed one last year but it and another one broke again this year. So I bought all new aftermarket ones. I didn't get any picture of them installed but here are a few pics. Thank you Chris for your help getting this reinstalled.
All the old pieces. Cut the flange off. Ended up cutting 2 more inches off. The sexy new style.

Nice bling. You'll have to leave the hood off to show them off
Ahhh the fun of riding and repairing! I had a sway bar slide bushing come off, ordered a used one and put it on last night. Mason and I went for a ride (probably one of the last) got home and it was gone! UGH!! Need to figure out why they keep coming off. Guessing the rough trails don't help much. Should be riding a motocross bike instead of a snowmobile on some of the trails with the whoop sections.
