Winch power draw problem looking for guru advice
I have a badlands 12,000lb winch for my truck. (Yes i know HF winch). Ive never had a problem with it till the last time i tried to use it. Thought it was the winch or solenoids because all they were doing was clicking. But tonight i finally got a chance to really look at it and figured out im not getting enough power to it. Way i figured it out was i jumped the winch directly to another battery separate from the truck. And worked like it should so i know its a power delivery problem.
when i get time to play with it again im going to try cleaning all the connections and grounds see if it works again like it should. But heres my question. In line with the positive cable are like some kind little silver relay or circuit breakers i think is what they actually are.
Wondering if i could just delete them and just make the positive wire a direct route to the winch? Has anyone ever done this without issue?? Or would this be a bad idea?? Kinda worried if i clean all the contact points and grounds it may still not get enough power draw.
i have my winch on 350 amp "anderson plugs" usually used for electric forklift batteries.
the truck side is mounted to the front bumper.

the jumper cables have the same plug on them, so i do not have to open the hood
