I posted this in the 80-86 Bullnose section, but had no response so thought I'd try here.
A little over two years ago I bought a Warn 8274 mounted to a Warn winch bumper that had been on an '85 F-250. Since I only wanted the winch and didn't have a Ford truck I sold the bumper for $300.
Now, of course, I've bought an '85 F-250 and need a winch bumper.
So I'm wondering if anyone has one of these...
... and would be willing to get some dimensions on it for me so I can make one.
Yeah, looks like a slightly different model as the end corners are rounded whereas the one I had were a sharp turn, but close enough. Thank you very much. Just one other question, what's the material thickness?
The winch mount is 1/4" the side pieces are think sheet metal, I braced it up before I mounted it on my 79. I ran a chrome bumper identical to the one you sold on my 79 a few years ago, so these dimensions should be close, I think the chrome bumper is an inch or two taller.
I braced the top by taking off the thin sheet metal and welding on 1/4 diamond plate. This made the bumper far more rigid.
