P007d charge air flow sensor

P007d charge air flow sensor
Put a gdp piping kit and it has no where to plug the charge airflow sensor into so I am throwing that code and my system, especially at the exhaust sounds like a hair dryer or fan running all the time. How can I turn it off. Do I have to get my ezlynk tuner technician to turn it off. Will that fix that sound.

You need that sensor for air flow. . You can't just turn it off. It tells the computer how much fuel to use.

Are you talking the IAT (intake air temp) sensor that sits on the cold air pipe coming out of the intercooler?

yes. I ended up shortening that pipe to integrate with the oem part that attaches to the intercooler and joined them together with a boot so I could keep the sensor.

Thats odd that someone would sell a product without a spot to pit a sensor that the truck needs to run. I would call them and see whats the deal.

I saw a video on Smeding Diesel's intake piping kit and they didn't have a port for the IAT sensor either. The guy ended up zip tying it to one of the small coolant hoses that run on top of the radiator.

But Pusher Intakes has the IAT port though...

If I could do it over I would have gone with pusher. I like that titanium color. I already have thier coolant reroute lines.

It just doesn't make sense to manufacture a pipe kit and not have the IAT sensor port on there. Good luck.
