first off my truck has the dpf deleted and also runs an intake. - I started the truck up this morning and had a big cloud of white smoke. It clears within seconds and never notice it while I’m driving. It seems to be running fine but, I’m no mechanic so just hoping to get some input. Thanks everyone!
All the levels looked good, Ill start checking the coolant level daily for the next little bit. The truck is still pretty low miles 60,000 kms - it didn’t do it again yesterday but it was warm each time. I’ll watch it again this morning when I fire it up 🤞🏽
might try and run some injector cleaner through on the next tank, just as a precaution? I’ll start researching, but if anyone has any recommendations for an injector cleaner.
The 6.7 Piezo Fuel Injectors do not give problems like the oil actuate injectors of previous Power Stroke engines.
I would not advise any sort of fuel injector leaner in the fuel tank. I would use a lube additive to the fuel system/tank as the injector cleaner might contain some form of alcohol which is not good on the Bosch CP4 HPFP.
