I read through 1/2 dozen threads on this topic, but most were how to fix one not working. I have a new 21 XLT. Bought a 2020 slightly used Leather SW from a guy who took it off a Lariat and tells me I should be able to activate Heat by adding option through forescan and a clockspring? Who has done this successfully? Help
You have two choices, a heated Lariat wheel, or a heated Raptor wheel. the Raptor wheel gives you paddle shifters as well. The Lariat wheel new from the service department is around $700; the Raptor wheel from Ford Performance is around $450.
In the YouTube preview image above, the steering wheel heater connection is the grey plug in the bottom center. If your leather wheel does not have that connector, then your wheel is not heated. If it does have that connector, the you will need the three Ford part numbers listed above, plus the BoostedGreyGooseDesigns steering wheel harness (you can also make your own from the instructions on the raptor wheel thread).

Thanx again Tom. Wheel installed. It does have connector for heat but that is a mod for a future date.
