99 Expedition 5.4 / 4R100 - Code P0783
O/D light is blinking but truck seems to be shifting smooth. Took it to get scanned and they said it was a P0783 (FORD - 3-4 Shift Error). Trans was rebuilt in 2019 could it be that I just need to replace the solenoid pack with a reman? Are there ANY parts that need to be transferred to the new from the old? I put A LOT of city miles on this thing. Truck had roughly 335K on it before the rebuild and now about 350K.

That code doesn't mean replace the solenoid body. It means that the RPM drop wasn't observed during a 3-4 shift. The first thing to try is to clear the code and see if it comes back.
Since there is no code specifically for the solenoids I don't think there is anything wrong with the solenoid body.

Had the codes cleared once before but it did it again.... Am planning on replacing my pan (Adding one with a drain), do the filter, and the shift pack. Going to do it myself down at the DIY auto shop where I can throw it up on a rack.
Had the trans rebuilt in 2019 but the place as since gone bye bye with my extended warranty.. *******s lol.
