Been crusing in my truck a little more lately, due to warmer weather , and cruising is one of the best ways to self-distance. I noticed I hit 9500 miles on the odometer. Which i thought was pretty good. But then i realized i got my truck on the road in 2006. 9500 miles in 14 years aint too good. I better keep going. How often you guys drive your trucks ???
In the spring, summer, and fall i try to drive one of my trucks everyday. The 55 F350 is easy since I park it in the street and I use it for my mowing jobs. My 54 is parked in our one car garage. To get it out I have to move the wife's can out of the driveway.... Before the Wuhan Virus shutdown my wife would go to work and then it was easy to get my 54 out of the garage to go to the diner for coffee.
I've been averaging about 1000 miles in my 54. The guy at the garage where I got my 55 inspected last week said I put 1400 miles on it.
My truck has been on the road since May of 2016 I have put Approx. 1500 miles on it. Being that it is not parked by my home, I only take it out to shows etc.
I drive mine 4 to 5 days out of the week. I used to run errands with it but now with the COVID problems I try not to go into stores very often anymore. If it's not raining I just drive it around. And the enjoyment factor is even more now with 92 octane in my area around $2.00 a gallon!
It might sound like I'm bragging, but I really have pulled the COE out of the garage over a dozen times since it arrived. And a couple of times it was under it's own power. I think I should be able to count the miles it traveled over from Wisconsin too. Technically I was the owner during the trip. I'm just saying...
please don’t worry! I only made 750 miles in 2019. But I must admit, that I use the Mustang much more than the truck. The mustang ran for about 2,5 k miles per year since I bought it in 2013.
I tried searching but can't find any front end pics of your truck . I would love to see some pics and a little background as I am looking for something different than the standard f100 fare . You can pm me so we don't hijack the thread . Thanks
Thank's John I tried to find his 2010 front end thread but couldn't find the pics . I sure would be allot happier if we didn't need a front plate in Manitoba . There's just no attractive place to put it " I do like behind the seat " .
