How much timing chain deflection is too much? -400ci
Any a yooz guys know how much deflection on a timing chain justifies a timing set replacement? I can't find a statistic anywhere. It's a 78' 400ci. I've got around 0.65" of play, that's a bit over 5/8". I am going to replace it anyway, but I was wondering if anyone had the 'acceptable limit' figure for future reference...
