ICP Voltage -2.6 volts ????
Hi guys, I recently installed a OBDLINK MX+ and purchased the Torque Pro app to use on my phone (as recommended by many people on this Forum). Thanks and I like it and it helps me diagnose problems that I am having. I watched the Diesel Tech Ron youtube video and after adding the Powerstroke add ons, I also added the ICP Voltage. The few days that it has been installed it always reads -2.6 volts and never changes. According to DT Ron he says it should be + .16-.28 volts ....I have a new Motorcraft ICP sensor and a NEW Motorcraft IPR valve and a new Ford wiring pigtail for the ICP and a new Motorcraft CPS. I just installed a new fuel pump and replaced the fuel filter. Waiting for the Diesel O Rings delivery of my fittings to check fuel pressure at idle and driving and WOT pulling a hill. My IPR % numbers are normal under normal driving conditions...however at WOT and pulling a steep hill it will reach 64% + and the light has came on and P1211 code. My HPOP numbers are good. On flat ground I did the floored it at 60mph and held till 90mph and the HPOP was 2700-2800 with IPR at 41 to 47 on the 3 or 4 tests that I did. Should I purchase the ICP pigtail extension plug in that has the 3 wires to use for testing that DT Ron recommends and check it with a Multimeter?? Thanks in advance for any advice...Ron Miller So.
