Front tube shocks on jailbar trucks
Anybody install tube shocks on the factory front axle of their jailbar trucks, without modifying the inner fender wells? Would like to see how you did it.

Interesting...did you utilize the factory lower link mount on top of the spring in conjunction with these? I located some shock studs that fit into the link mount, then made up some brackets to mount off the frame, but they interfere with the inner fender panel. Due to the lower edge of the inner panel sitting out from the side of the frame and the large outward bow of the inner panel, I'm unable to line everything up without having to modify the inner fender panel. I'm at a point where my brain hurts trying to figure this one out.

No, I used a tube shock with the round bushing on each end. The one that mounts to the beam used used a bolt and bushing. The original Houdaille shock and link is not used.
