I haven't been on this forum much since I sold my 70 F350 to buy my 55 F350 in April 2016. So maybe this was discussed here already. But I saw this pair on eBay last night:
What do you guys think? Has anyone bought these or seen them in person? Will this drive down the price of good used emblems?
Now someone has to start making F350 emblems for 1955 Ford trucks! I was substitute teaching today and talking to the ag teacher. He has a 70 international truck. He was lamenting the fact that there are no sheet metal parts or trim reproduced for IH trucks, not even parchpatch panels.
10/26/2019: I received a facebook message from a "friend" Randy Milner of Melvin's Classic Ford Parts (Conyers GA) announcing the emblems, using the same pic you posted.
These are 1967 F100 only, have never been reproduced, NOS is non existent. An FTE member asked me several years ago if I knew where there were any NOS
I did, a pair at a local Ford obsolete parts dealer. I told him, he bought 'em, then sold them to a guy in Chicago for 500 bucks each.
These prices are nonsense.
If someone is willing to pay that bling on my '67 I will gladly accept it..
Am I driving a Ferrari?
There is too much money in the wrong hands in this world.
