Truck began randomly stuttering during driving a week ago, got worse over a couple days and now won't run. Replaced FPR, relay, filter and pump. Getting proper voltage at relay. KOEO and jumping the #6 pin in DLC, fuel pressure will not get above 24lbs.
In the past few month I've noticed the front tank sending unit behave oddly. Fuel gauge stays pegged at full until tank is nearly empty, then it swings wildly back and forth. This leads me to think there might be a bad ground on the in tank pumps.
If the in tank pumps are not working, could the high pressure pump still pull enough fuel to get 24lbs at the rail?
