Lately I have been hearing a pop when I am moving slow and turn the wheel left then back to straight. It doesn't do it every time, but it has been happening quite often. Any ideas? 2003 with 105k miles 2wd.
Could be a frame-to-cab mount, or the beginning of a bad ball joint. I've heard mine do this for a while, and have decided to let it get worse so that I can more easily find the problem. It's nothing obvious.

I know the ball joints were replaced not too long ago before I bought the truck from my Dad. I will have to look in the paper work he gave and check.

Don’t rule out the front hub bearings, could possibly be an early sign of a bad roller bearing when it hits the bad spot on the roller. Easy check sometimes, jack up the suspicious side, rotate the tire and see if you feel or hear something abnormal. Sometimes you will get a click in the rotation. Keep an eye on it cause if it’s a hub bearing it can strand you on the side of the road.
