As the title says, educate me. What do you have? What do you want? What are the best options? How do you install them? And any other thing you can think of to help a fella like myself who is lost when it comes to aftermarket gauges on these trucks.
For those that don't know already and are looking at the thread wanting to help, I have a 2001 F350 CCSB 4x4 Auto 7.3L diesel that is bone stock at the moment.
Torque pro and an android device will get you everything you want to know for $5 aside from EGT, fuel pressure, and coolant temp. You could get those 3 in a triple pillar gauge set. Isspro and autometer are well reputable. Glow shift seems to be hit or miss. Max Tow seems to be their better line.
Riff Raff Diesel has complete kits with instructions. Owned and operated by ex-member here, carries only quality stuff and at a good price.
Really comes down to selecting what you want to monitor. EGT and fuel pressure are not available to Torque Pro since the truck does not monitor them, so a real gauge is necessary. You could do a mix of OBD gauges and real gauges. I have only real gauges; EGT, boost, trans temp, and fuel pressure. Need EGT if you ever plan on getting tunes, save the truck from melting a piston. Boost is a useful diagnostic tool, and fun. Trans temp because the dash gauge is not anything like accurate. When it shows hot it's almost too late. Fuel pressure is boring as heck, but if the truck is having issues you'll want to know that it's getting adequate fuel.
Keep searching around, lots of opinions on gauges.
Didn't know I was being demanding. Just trying to gain education.
I was just messing with you man....hence the two back-to-back posts. Imagine a conversation and not forum reading...LOL.
Ok, so on edit, I have three analog gauges and an Edge Insight for engine monitoring only. My Glowshifts are Fuel Pressure, LPOP pressure, and EGT. The Edge reads everything else....BUT....if I did it over, save the coin and get the Torque pro others have told you about. It'll do everything the Edge will do.

I got ya! LOL! Yeah, sometimes I wish more of these forums had live chat or that we could all sit around a fire with our beverage of choice and learn from one another. I don't know a lot about the 7.3 yet, but I finally got the truck I've wanted for years after working hard and saving to buy it with cash. But I'm sure enjoying learning about it from everyone here that shares.
For example, here is a tidbit I learned two days ago. Sharp rock that the county puts on the roads here will absolutely puncture a Nitto tire. I've literally run tens of thousands of miles on these roads with MT Deagans and other tires and never had a puncture. But three months into having Nitto's on Ole Blue, boom...Don't know if it is the tread pattern that holds the rocks more or what, but I'm seriously considering getting rid of them and going back to the MT's.
Anyways, now I'm trying to figure out how much I have to save up to get a gauge cluster...and I've already ordered the bluetooth deal for the torque pro. I'm in deep fellas...

Oh it can go deeper!! Stick with us, we'll get you there
Not sure if dual EGT or even a single EGT gauge is right for you. You stated the truck was bone stock. If you have no plans to install a tuner, then no EGT (or two) will be required
What are your long term plans for the truck?
Do you want gauges just to stay informed and aid in troubleshooting?
Do you have plans to reach 400 or 500 HP one day?
Give us a little insight into your plans and we can pinpoint the areas to focus on from there.
