has any one had trouble installing& align.there door's.what is the deal,i am unable to get it flush in the door opening.any help would be great.thanx/scott.
Can you explain the problem better? If I can guess if it is the rear the 3 screws in the striker can be loosened moved farther in. And in the front you can eather shim the fender or loosin the 6 bolts and move the door in (not sure about this) Their is also 6 bolts behind the 2 covers on the front edge of the door witch you can rotate the door some. Hope this helps
i just hung the door today,i don't have the striker in yet.the problem is it is sitting in the opening pretty darn square,it just is not closing in the opening flush with the body all the way.thanx/scott.
Bhadden, had a good point about the cab twisting I know it will if the floor borads were cut in it. I had a problem with my doors when I put new seals the doors wouldn't close all the way at first the new seals had to squeeze down it only took a few days. I just had to move the striker in a little at a time.
hey guy's,i think your right.i just put the seal's on today, and then later i installed the driver's door.like i said i seem's to fit in the opening good,it just won't close down tight.if i get a chance soon,i think i will put the latch and striker in and see what happen's.thanx again/scott.
